You can create invoices and send them to whoever you want. EducationLink can also create invoices automatically for you.
An invoice, sometimes called a sales invoice, is a document sent by a provider of a product or service to the purchaser. The invoice establishes an obligation on the part of the purchaser to pay, creating an account receivable. In other words, the invoice is a written verification of the agreement between the buyer and seller of the goods or services.
EducationLink allows you to create invoices to:
- Providers (Universities, colleges, accommodation providers, insurance providers, etc);
- Other agencies.
You have the option to create an invoice manually or automatically, in this article we'll show you how to create an invoice manually.
Creating an invoice from the "Accounting" section
We have a special menu on EducationLink, just for accounting-related features. One of the sub-items is "Invoices". In this section, you can see all your invoices sent to you, to your providers and to your students. You can also create new invoices.
To create a new invoice, click on "Accounting" in the left menu (Main Menu), click on "Invoices", then click on "Add new". Choose the invoice option (Student or Provider), and fill up with the information on your invoice.
After finishing creating the invoice will you have the option to send it via email.
Creating an invoice from the student profile
You can also create an invoice from the student profile, the process is the same, the only difference is that you have to open the student profile first (How to find and search students?).
