Once you created a quote, you can send it to your student via email, WeChat and WhatsApp.
Messaging services are the main most students communicate between themselves and with their agencies. EducationLink has supported email since the beginning, but now it also supports WhatsApp and WeChat. And we are always working to add more messengers and with more functionalities.
How to send a quote via WhatsApp?
Once you clicked to generate the quote, EducationLink will give you the option to send via WhatsApp. Just click in the button "Send via WhatsApp".
EducationLink will open the WhatsApp web, which then WhatsApp will guide you on sharing the quote with your lead/student.
WhatsApp you will send the message from your own number (or at least the number it's connected to WhatsApp Web.
WhatsApp offers some limitations on what EducationLink can do, therefore it's important for you to know what we can and cannot do.
If the student has a phone number, we will tell WhatsApp what is the phone number, but there are some things you may need to be aware of:
- EducationLink always validates the phone number, does not matter the country, but if you added a phone number that it's incorrect to EducationLink WhatsApp will not find the phone on your contacts and will not allow you to send the message.
- You can only send the message to your WhatsApp contacts, therefore you need to have spoken with the student at least once before sending the quote.
