You can create payment receipts with just few clicks. But before your proceed reading this article, make sure to check out Selling a course to a student: adding a sale article. To generate a payment receipt, usually it's very important to have a sale first, as it's the sale that controls if and how much the student has to pay, without a sale first, EducationLink is not able to optimise your time, and you have to type everything manually.
By default EducationLink requires a sale to be added before a payment receipt can be issued. If you want to disable this requirement, change it in the Preferences in "Organization settings".
Whenever we add a sale, it will always have at least 1 (one) installment, even if the student pay everything in one payment, EducationLink will treat it like one installment. To quickly generate a payment, open the student profile (if you need help finding the student check out our article How to find and search students?).
